Our Mission
"Sisters Walking in Faith Together" - S.W.I.F.T. Ministries, Inc., is committed to the edifying and building up of the Body of Christ by reaching, teaching, and equipping women through the study of God's Word, prayer, and praise so that God will be glorified. S.W.I.F.T. Ministries, Inc. will continually seek God's Guidance and direction in all plans.

S.W.I.F.T. Ministries was born in September 1991, when a group of seven women came together to plan a relaxing, spiritual weekend for women to celebrate, enjoy their sisterhood and focus totally on the Lord.

I am very passionate, a lover of God’s Word, a woman who is very humbled to be a part of Swift Ministries. I wear several hats, daughter, sister, auntie, godmother, mentor and a very good friend. I love exploring new trails on the weekends, trying new restaurants, Day Spas, experimenting with new and different places of interest. I can be found coordinating events, wedding planning and mentoring. At my church or anyplace God says so, I can be found teaching God's word and spending time with sisters in Christ. I love to connect with others, you never know who else might share my passions.

I am a Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-grandmother who loves retirement. I enjoy traveling the world; and supporting my family at soccer, karate & school events. My hobbies include drawing & crafting personalized greeting cards. I have a passion for Theatre & The Arts, teaching basic life skills & God's Word; as well as singing & fellowshipping with the Saints of God.

About Celia
I’m a wife, mother and grandmother who really enjoys people. I especially love being around the elderly to show them love and to get wisdom. I also love being with young people to learn new things and keep up with the trends. My passion is to minister to women and to mentor the younger generation about the love of Jesus. I enjoy watching TV, especially Christian movies, game shows, Bible trivia and home decorating and fix-up shows, and most of all I love watching football. In addition, I love to cook new dishes and entertain.

I’m the mother of 2 wonderful children, Montrey and Harmeny; the grandmother of 1, Myla; and doggie mom to Baxter. I enjoy traveling and taking long drives to nowhere, talking to my best friend, God. You will find me at church working in the hospitality ministry, serving God’s people or working with our youth. I also love being around and doing things with my family. I’m all about doing God’s work and keeping my family together.

I am a native of Baltimore, Maryland and have also lived in Washington, DC, Penns Grove and Carneys Point, NJ; and I currently reside in Wilmington, DE. I’m the proud mother of one adult daughter, Heather; one son-in-law, Quincy; and the grandmother of two beautiful children, Omar and Cole. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and watching HGTV and movies on TV, as well as spending time outdoors basking in God’s handiwork. I am most passionate about teaching God’s word and spending time with my sisters in Christ.

As a recipient of God’s Love, I bear witness that ‘All My Life God Has Been Faithful’!! And, I am Created, Redeemed, Blessed and Gifted to be a Blessing to those around me. The special things I love in life are the times spent with my family and many friends. I am an excellent cook and especially enjoy making delicious Vegetarian dishes for my husband of 45 years. Some of my favorite activities include traveling, date night, hanging out with my nieces and nephews, planning parties and, of course, shopping. Also, one of my SWIFT Sisters and myself co-sponsor a weekly line dance class which provides exercise, fun, a stress releaser and an opportunity to meet people for socialization. I just celebrated my 72nd Birthday and I’m not tired yet! To God Be The Glory!!

My name is Sandi Wright, formerly Sandi Newsome. I am a newlywed, sister to three brothers, I love all kinds of music, but my favorite is oldies from the 60s and 70s. I have always loved helping people and because of it I have been able to travel to over 25 different countries serving others with the love of God.

We Believe
- We believe that the Bible is inerrant and divinely inspired, has God for its author, salvation for its end, and is the final authority for doctrine and instruction.
- We believe the Bible teaches that there is one, and only one, living and true God who exists eternally in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe the Bible teaches that man was created in the image of God, holy and innocent, but by voluntary disobedience fell from that holy state. as a result, all mankind is now born in sin and needs to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit for salvation.
- We believe the Bible teaches that the salvation of the sinner is wholly by grace through faith on the completed work of Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin, died vicariously, rose bodily and ascended into heaven where he is presently exalted at the Father's right hand.
- We believe the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ, in obedience to the Father, freely took upon him our nature, yet without sin, shed his blood for the atonement of our sins.
- We believe the Bible teaches that the church, the body of Christ, had its beginning at Pentecost, consists only of those who are born again, who are baptized by the Holy Spirit at the time of regeneration, for whom he now makes intercession in heaven, and for whom he will come again.
- We believe the Bible teaches that the personal return of Jesus Christ for the church is imminent.
- We believe the Bible teaches that one who is genuinely saved is eternally secure, and therefore, cannot lose his salvation.
- We believe the Bible teaches that it is the duty of each believer to live a holy life unto God, keeping himself unspotted from the world, and that this shall be accomplished by his constant dependence upon the Holy Spirit's enablement.
- We believe the Bible teaches that Christ commanded the church to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, baptizing and teaching those who believe.
The founding purpose of S.W.I.F.T. was to organize a weekend retreat where women from various churches and communities could come together for fellowship, study, prayer, and the worship of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Over time, S.W.I.F.T. has expanded its activities to include workshops, seminars, fellowship gatherings, and praise and worship services, primarily focusing on women.
S.W.I.F.T. has been honored with the Community Builders Award as a Faith Leader, a Citation from the Salem County NJ County Commissioners, a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from the U.S. Congress, and a Proclamation from the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey, acknowledging its service, leadership, and dedication to the community.
As a faith-based ministry, all of S.W.I.F.T.'s income is dedicated to covering ministry expenses.
While the initial goal was to plan a retreat, S.W.I.F.T. remains prayerful that the Lord will continue to guide and inspire them in organizing events that support women in their spiritual growth and deepening relationship with God.
